A Minneapolis man was sentenced Monday to more than four decades in prison for a crime the judge described as “senseless.” Last June, Vone Moua, the owner of Malina’s bar in St. Paul, was shot to death at closing time. It happened after a dispute about a $20 refund for a pool table fee.
Two men have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a St. Paul sports bar owner that also left two other employees injured. The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday at Malina’s Bar on 691 North Dale Street.
Police have released the identity of the man who was shot and killed inside a sports bar. They also confirm someone has been arrested in the case.
