Last Bit Of Snow Melts Away In Superior, Wis.The last remnants of snow are finally gone in Superior. The judges in the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce's "Snowpocalypse" contest declared the last snow in the city's snow dump to have melted on Monday.

WCCO won for coverage of the legalization of gay marriage in Minnesota, affordable health care and the search for a 2-year-old western Wisconsin boy found dead in a locked trunk. WCCO also was cited for memories of the Metrodome, sports play-by-play, best newscast and website.
Duluth Man Suspected In Wis. Cabbie Stabbing A 21-year-old Duluth, Minn., man is suspected of stabbing a Superior cab driver who had picked him up.
Wis. Volunteer Fire Hall, Fire Trucks DestroyedThe fire hall that served as a command center during a massive forest fire in northwestern Wisconsin has been destroyed in a blaze that also burned six fire trucks. Town of Gordon Fire Chief Mike Chmielecki says the fire hall is a total loss. Chmielecki says there were several explosions inside the hall as it burned Thursday, which he says likely came from the truck equipment. No one was injured in the fire. WDIO-TV reports five agencies worked to extinguish the fire which also destroyed the volunteer firefighters' gear.
