Police say the death of a student who was hanged at White Bear Lake Area High School was an accident. Fourteen-year-old Sawyer Moeller died last Friday after he was injured in the performing arts area of the North Campus the week before.

A police chase involving a stolen van ended Monday morning with the van crashing into a garage in White Bear Lake and two people being taken into custody, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
