Tickets in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas have matched all six numbers to split a $564.1 million Powerball jackpot, lottery officials said Thursday. Sue Dooley, senior drawing manager and production coordinator for the Multi-State Lottery Association, said the Puerto Rico ticket was the first Powerball jackpot winner ever sold outside the continental United States.
Lottery officials said a winning ticket worth nearly $12 million was sold in Anoka County. The Hot Lotto drawing took place Saturday night, with the winning numbers being 1-2-3-25-30 and a Hot Ball of 19.
One of the tickets sold in Georgia for the Powerball game Saturday evening matched all six numbers drawn.
