3 Lynx Players Earn All-WNBA Honors

As the Minnesota Lynx get ready for the WNBA’s Western Conference Finals, two players were recognized by the league on Wednesday. Point guard Lindsay Whalen and shooting guard Maya Moore were chosen to the All-WNBA first team as two of the top players in the league.

Vikings Buy 500 Lynx Playoff Tickets For Fans

The Vikings are doing their best to help bring a championship to Minnesota any way they can. The struggling football team has purchased 500 Lynx tickets for Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against Phoenix on Thursday night.

Lynx Beat Sky 79-66; Earn Home Court In Playoffs

Maya Moore had 22 points and 11 rebounds and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Chicago Sky 79-66 Saturday night to secure home-court advantage throughout the WNBA playoffs. Lindsay Whalen added 23 points and Seimone Augustus had 14 for the Lynx (26-8), who have won eight of nine. Minnesota finished the season 15-2 at home. Janel McCarville grabbed 10 rebounds. Sylvia Fowles led Chicago with 17 points and 11 rebounds and Elena Delle Donne had 14 points. The Sky (24-10) lost for just the second time in 11 games and will be the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
