Man Gets 36 Years In Prison For Fatal Motel Standoff

A man who pleaded guilty to an incident that involved holding 11 people hostage and sexually assaulting four teenage girls at gunpoint in a Washington County motel room has been sentenced to 36 years in prison.

Globe Univ. Students Suing School For Misleading Applicants

Five Globe University students filed a class action lawsuit Wednesday against their for-profit school, alleging that the school lied to students on everything from transferability of its credits to its inferior accreditation. Globe University is a Woodbury, Minn.-based career college offering degrees in 40 program areas, enrolling 7,803 students across 20 locations that include Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Woodbury Police Need Help To Find Missing Vulnerable Adult

The Woodbury Police Department is asking for the public’s help to try and find a vulnerable adult who has been missing since Wednesday. Authorities said Kyle Konkler, 19, likely walked away from his Woodbury home on White Eagle Drive in the Eagle Valley neighborhood and hasn’t been seen since.

The Woodbury Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two men who are suspected of stealing a Harley Davidson motorcycle last month. Police said the incident happened in the late night hours of May 20 in an underground garage of an apartment complex in Woodbury.

State Patrol: Bus Evacuated In Woodbury After Passenger Talked Of Bombs

The Minnesota State Patrol said one person is in custody and a bus was evacuated on Interstate 94 near Woodbury after a passenger made comments about bombs. Authorities said a Greyhound bus headed for Chicago, Ill., was stopped on eastbound I-94 near Radio Drive Thursday afternoon after it was reported that a passenger made comments and references about bombs to other passengers and the bus driver.

Complaint: Man Recorded Video Of Girls Changing At Woodbury Gap

A 24-year-old Columbus, Minn., man faces multiple charges for allegedly slipping his iPhone under a kids’ changing stall door at a Gap store to record two girls changing. Caleb Wolfgram faces two felony counts of interfering with the privacy of a minor, court documents say. He also faces a gross misdemeanor charge of interfering with privacy.
