When Everett Diemert woke up, he knew he had quite a manic Monday ahead of him. He works at Hallberg Marine in Wyoming. There were a whole lot of boats that required snow removal. “We are going to have another long winter like last year,” Diemert said.

Remains In S.D. Are Of Man Missing 14 Years

Human remains found in western South Dakota’s Lawrence County last week have been identified as those of a man whose disappearance 14 years ago prompted searches in three states. The remains are those of David F. Johnson, a retired dentist from Buffalo, Wyoming, who was reported missing on June 5, 2000, according to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.

Minnesota Man Rescued After Fall In Wyoming

Rangers rescued a 60-year-old Minnesota man who apparently had fallen while attempting to summit a 13,770-foot peak in Grand Teton National Park in northwest Wyoming. The National Park Service says Steve Markusen, of Minneapolis, was rescued Friday morning.

A Wisconsin couple reported missing after a visit to Yellowstone National Park was found safe on a closed highway in Wyoming, where their car had been stuck for nearly a week, officials said Monday. Minn. Man Dies During Shipwreck Dive At Isle Royale Park

A 55-year-old man has died while scuba diving to a shipwreck at Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior. Park officials say Lloyd W. Krohn of Wyoming, Minn., was among three divers planning to explore a Canadian cargo vessel called the Kamloops, which sank in 1927. Shortly after reaching their target depth of about 200 feet, the other divers noticed that Krohn was having trouble. They sent Krohn to the surface, where he was spotted by crew members with the charter boat they had taken. He was not breathing when pulled aboard.

Public Helps Locate Suspect In Hinckley Hit-And-Run Death

A public tip has helped authorities arrest a man in connection with the hit-and-run crash that killed a man from Wyoming, Minn., earlier this month. According to the Department of Public Safety, Derek Anthony Sanders, 31, of Wyoming, Minn., was taken into custody from his parents’ residence Wednesday morning without incidence.
