Outdoor enthusiasts have a new way to enjoy the Minnesota River Valley. Just strap into a harness and hit the new zip line. Lee Kerfoot is owner of Kerfoot Canopy Tours. “My folks own the Gunflint Lodge (near the Boundary Waters) and we encouraged them to do this for several years,” Kerfoot said. Kerfoot’s takes adventure seekers high above the trees and over a steep ravine that suspends them 175 feet in the air.
Remember those team-building challenges back at summer camp? There was the high ropes course, and maybe even a zip line? Those outdoor adventures are becoming more and more popular for the entire family.
Just in time for the warm temperatures, the amusement park at Como Park opens Saturday.
