Best Bets For Holiday Clearances

Since Black Friday many retail stores have been offering clearance pricing on select items, while the bulk of the good sales started on Dec. 26. Many of the best items are picked over quickly, but fear not, there is plenty of inventory to last well into the beginning of the New Year. Here's a list of the stores I'll be checking out for holiday clearances.
Hours: Mon-Fri 10am-8pm; Sat 10am-6pm; Sun 11am-5pm
Let's start at Bibelot, here you will find a mix of holiday specialty ornaments, cards, gift-wrap and select décor. Obviously, most of these items have been moved to the clearance area in store, so you have to know your way area in order to find the best deals. As a smaller boutique this means smaller inventories, so sale items will go quickly, but there are four locations in our area.
The Container Store, you might not have thought of the Container Store as a place to head for holiday sales, but you'll find plenty of after holiday deals here. With a massive selection of stylish holiday gift-wrap, this store has everything from boxes and gift bags to ribbon and gift tags. Clearance of remaining inventory will save you tons for next year and you cannot beat some of the unique items they stock!

For a modern take on holiday home decor, Crate and Barrel never fails. You know you'll always find a mix of ornaments, dining decor and cooking gadgets that are perfect for holiday entertaining. While the cooking gadgets may not be deeply discounted, the ornaments and home decor is sure to be found at great prices. Leave the stress of holiday entertaining behind by stocking up way ahead.

Pier 1 Imports is a great place to shop if you have always dreamed of a themed tree - especially if you have a specific color palette in mind. Ornaments and holiday decor tends to go quickly as shoppers stalk the items all season then pounce as soon as clearance begins. So if your dream for next year is a white Christmas, tree and all, head of to Pier 1 quickly.

This really is the one-stop-shop for next year's gifts, decorations and storage solutions. Wait long enough and these items will be marked as far down as 75% off, you might just have to hunt them back in the way back of the store but they'll be there.
