Best Places for Rekindling Romance in Minnesota

Although it may not be V day, this time of year, you need something similar. After spending the longest summer ever hanging out with the kids, couples need ways to rekindle the romance. It isn't exactly a holiday affair when the kids go back to school, but do you and your honey a favor and make it the next best thing. Here are Minnesota's best places for celebrating, or rather rekindling, romance.

Couples that really want to get away for a day of peace and quiet can't go wrong with the Superior Hiking Trail. The 286-mile trail travels above Lake Superior from Duluth to the Canadian border and includes 89 free backcountry campsites and parking lots every five to 10 miles for day hikes and backpacking. Because the trail is only a footpath, there are no motorized vehicles tooting along anywhere close, leaving you and your love to hike through the wilderness alone and in quiet.
