Best Places To Buy A Hat In Minnesota

As the cold grows strong, hat sales come along. Get a fall hat at any of the following five Minnesota retailers. Most clothing stores have hats, but check out these shops if you are looking for something special.

A good haberdashery is hard to find. Fortunately, we have one in St. Paul. While this store has been in operation for only 10 years, it stems from a long line of purveyors of men's clothing. Heimie, the namesake of the store, came over from Russia roughly 100 years and started a tailor business. Heimie's has all shapes of hats, from bowlers to fedoras by Bailey, Dobbs, Dorfman Guerra Italy, Pacific, Stetson and Wigens.

You wouldn't immediately think of a saddle shop as the place to go for hats, but Schatzlein has an unbelievable selection of quality hats. Leather, straw, fur felt, wool felt, English riding caps, and even kids hats, are just some of the types of hats available there. Some of the brands you would find in the store are Bailey, Resistol, Troxel and legendary Stetson. In addition, this nice little shop on Lake Street has sponge hat cleaners, hatbands, hat strings, hat racks, hat cover and hard cases to protect your treasured possession. Helpful staff at Schatzlein has loads of information on fitting, hat shaping and especially caring for an expensive hat.
