Best Places To Get A Hot Toddy

The hot toddy is characterized as a festive drink that is infused with spices mixed with hot boiling water, lemon, honey and a spirit of your choice. They will usually contain whiskey, brandy or rum to liven up the bodily senses, especially during the coldest months of the year. It's believed that the drink came from Scotland, yet the word "toddy" is a variation from the word "tari" which refers to a drink made from an Indian Palm. In cold states like Minnesota, hot toddies are no longer a cure for colds but instead a delicious drink to enjoy at local watering holes.
