Excellent listing! Are you also familiar with Key North Boutique in NE Mpls?

  • slboyd

I’m not! Thanks for the suggestion — I’ll have to go check it out! :)

  • liz

A great place to check out for Fine Jewelry is Tesa Jewellers in Plymouth.

  • Susie

A really cute boutique in South Minneapolis (50th and Penn) is Inizio.

  • Muriel Collins

    Try Larue’s 39th and Lyndale Ave S.

  • NE

Can’t leave out Parc Boutique in NE Minneapolis.

  • MJ

How about some suggestions for men? The shopping for men in this vast city sucks – clothing and shoes.

    • Eric

Mens: Bluepeg on 50th and France, Black/Blue on Selby in SP, Len Druskin Downtown or in the Galleria, Atmosphere in Uptown just a few of my fav mens stores! Agreed, lacking in Minneapolis and often overlooked by shoppers and the media.

    • Jeff

MJ, Id recommend Elsworth in Downtown Minneapolis. Its a great Mens Boutique and while they have some couture stuff, a majority of their stuff is affordable and fashionable.

    • Kathy

Tell me about where to find fine clothing for gals over thirty, please? Tailored clothing of reasonable price for a better dress look is too absent in todays’ retail.

The mature market is where the money is.

This boutique variety iis a Paris Hilton Teens Trend (Little Girl Mentaility)

  • Moi

Hmmm. Boooring! You missed a lot of good ones. Maybe all of them.

  • Deb

Don’t forget to check out Lilians and Moon Goon in various cities around the TC. Excelsior, Buffalo, Hopkins, Anoka, just to name a few. They are only open on certain weekends. Check out Lilians on the web to see which locations are open when.

  • McKenzie

I’d update Fun Sisters to say “Designer inspired” – the handbags are cute and fun, but not designer bags.

    • Jan

I think that Fun Sisters has declined greatly in the last year and a half. I shop there pretty regularly and both selection and quality of purses especially, has gone down. Jewelry is still good, but they are adding more junk.

      • Joyce

I agree that the store has been declining in merchandise. The Walker location is one step away from a dollar store.

  • McKenzie

Oh, and what about I Like You for accessories – they are stocked with all sorts of local designers!

  • Audrey

It would be great if you mentioned what size clothing they carry. It’s really embarassing to go into a store and have them look you up and down and say that they don’t carry your large size in their store. Us big girls have to wear clothes too. I’m really not THAT big, but if they only carry size 0-8, then I don’t even want to go in there.

    • debbie

i was wondering the same thing as i was reading about the stores , nothing had a size so i probably won’t make an attempt to get to any if them!

      • Kathy

        • Sarah

Looks like you already subscribed from posting that comment, KATHY.

None of these compare to the Gold Standard “Intoto”. Bring back Intoto!

  • liz pomish

If you havne’t checked out Tesa Jewellers in Plymouth, I would definitely recommend them. They have great pieces.

  • michele carter

    What about large size boutiques

    • Bridget

Bombshell on Grand Ave in St. Paul is wonderful.

  • Christy

Houndstooth in Savage…a little bit of Hollywood in our small town. Love it!

  • Mia

Martin’s is a great boutique in Wayzata and Excelsior. They carry all the latest fashion such as AG Jeans, Michael Stars, Bailey 44, Free People, Ella Moss, and many small new labels. Their staff is super helpful and can outfit for any occasion.
