THE DEFENSE

Q: Welcome to Defend Your Ride Minnesota. Dawn, let's start with road trips. Do you like to take this puppy out for road trips?

A: We do. We love to go to Ely or Fargo.

Q: You betcha! It sure is beautiful in Ely.

A: It is. We have a lot of friends living there.

Q: Do you have a long commute?

A: Not too bad—just from Bloomington to Roseville.

Q: What is the your favorite part of your commute?

A: Oh you know, just listening to music, talk radio, CDS and my Ipod.

Q: What tunes do you have on rotation?

A: Desmond Dekker, The Stooges and the Ramones.

Q: What is your least favorite part of your commute?

A: I hate traffic, and driving in snow or rain in the dark. Can't see.

Q: Those things do suck. What are the rules in your car?

A: No messes allowed!

Q: Dang, you sound serious about that. I was about to spill something in here. What would your car's theme song be?

A: Most definitely my car would rock "Kick Out The Jams" by MC5.

Q: What human emotion would your car have?

A: This car would definitely be amused. Quietly amused.

Q: What would your dream car be?

A: I love '70s muscle cars, like the Dodge Dart or a cool electric SUV.

Q: Sweet! You said you had never had a new car before, right?

A: This is my first new car. It's super reliable and I feel safe in any weather. It handles great and has been a wonderful vehicle.
