THE DEFENSE
Q: Hi Jerod. Welcome to Defend Your Ride Minnesota. Can you tell us about your car? Where did you buy it?
A: Crosstown Luxury Motors, Wayzata, Minnesota. I wanted an upgrade from my old Honda Civic, wanted a manual and something fun before I got too old for fun cars. This one could be categorized as my quarter-life crisis car.
Q: What is its main use? Do you have a favorite feature?
A: Commuting to work. The way it drives. It is fun to drive!
Q: When you're cruising to and from work, do you ever pump it up and listen to music?
A: Most of the time when I'm in the car I'm listening to news or my iPod.
Q: Ever get out of your normal routine and take a road trip?
A: Yes, I've gone to Duluth up the North Shore and to the U.P. of Michigan. The back roads of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, they are fun to drive and the U.P. is a beautiful area.
Q: Sounds lovely. Do you have any rules in your Mini Cooper S?
A: No smoking in the car! If you're going to eat, don't spill.
Q: OK, last question tiger. If your car had a personality, what kind of personality would it have?
A: High-maintenance! Never gives you a chance to get complacent.
