Red, White and BOOM celebrates Independence Day with music, entertainment and family fun on the Minneapolis Riverfront on July 3 and 4. Fireworks are at 10 p.m. on July 4. Powderhorn Park, Minneapolis is the venue for the second of two firework displays in the city of Minneapolis. An especially family-friendly event with live music, children’s activities, and local food vendors. The party starts at 1 p.m., fireworks at 10 p.m.

St. Paul

The fireworks will be launched from just outside Harriet Island Park, on the west bank of the Mississippi, so you can get a great view of the fireworks from any vantage point along the Mississippi River. Kellogg Boulevard, the road that parallels the river through downtown St. Paul, has plenty of space for viewing the fireworks. The long running A Taste of Minnesota is no more, but the city of St. Paul is planning a firework display on Harriet Island on July 4.

Albert Lea

On July 3, 6pm come see the largest parade in Southern Minnesota with over 100 units travel Bridge and Fountain Streets.

July 4 is one of the largest fireworks display in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. Watch the beautiful reflection off of Fountain Lake at 10pm.

Star Storm 2013 is a music and fireworks spectacular that is presented each year on the grounds of Arrowwood Resort. Tune your radio to KX92 – 92.3 FM to hear a patriotic sound track to the largest fireworks show in West Central Minnesota. It’s FREE and open to the public. Rainbow Rider shuttles will be running from the stables beginning at 7pm.

St. Michael

Looking for Fireworks: St. Michael Residents Can Find Great Displays Just Miles from Home. Twin Cities area Fourth of July celebrations are abundant this year, and Triple-A is reporting that many people (some like you) aren’t traveling far from home. Though St. Michael has dropped its traditional Fourth of July festivities (look for that to change soon), there are plenty of places around the metro to get out and enjoy this wonderful weekend. Close to home, it’s all about Elk River’s annual celebration. The people have come together to keep this one rolling. Most of the action happens near Lions Park, which is near the intersection of Jason Avenue and School Street in Elk River. At about 10:15 p.m. are the fireworks by RES Pyrotechnics.

Stewartville

Community organizers say: “Show your support for Tim Walz and walk with us in the Stewartville 4th of July Parade Sunday, July 4th Line-up at 5:45pm at Stewartville High School. We are unit #62. Parade starts at 6:15pm. Wear your Walz t-shirt and we hope to see you there!”

Stillwater
