Red, White and BOOM celebrates Independence Day with music, entertainment and family fun on the Minneapolis Riverfront on July 3 and 4. Fireworks are at 10 p.m. on July 4.

Details: Live music and family activities from 6-10 p.m. Family and fun zone activities will be held in Father Hennepin Park. Live music will be playing at Mill Ruins Park and Father Hennepin Bluffs Park.
Powderhorn Park will celebrate the Fourth of July with The People’s Festival — an afternoon of activities, food and entertainment in the park. Festivities will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4, though no fireworks are scheduled.
Saint Paul’s annual July 4th fireworks display will take place following the Saints game against the Fargo Moorhead Redhawks on Saturday at approximately 10:00 p.m. The actual time of the fireworks will vary depending upon the time the game ends. All are encouraged to pack a blanket, travel by light rail, bike or bus and enjoy the free fireworks display from nearby Indian Mounds Regional Park or Lower Landing Park.
On July 3, come see the largest parade in Southern Minnesota at 6 p.m. The parade has over 100 units, heading from the Freeborn County Fairgrounds to Central Park.
July 4 is one of the largest fireworks display in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. Watch the beautiful reflection off of Fountain Lake at 10 p.m.

Andover’s annual “Jerry Silverman” Independence Day Fireworks Display will take place at dusk on Friday, July 3rd at the Andover High School on Shawsheen Road.

What’s an Independence Day celebration without fireworks? Have your cameras ready and be prepared to be amazed by a fireworks display like no other Firework Extravaganza on July 4 at 10 p.m. at the National Sports Center, 1700 150th Ave NE. The best place to watch is Aquatore Park.

Celebrate America in Crosslake on July 3 at 10 p.m. either on the water or from the shores. The firework show is to start at dusk from Sand Island.
Freedom Days Celebration and Parade
Join the city of Nisswa on July 3. There’s the annual turtle races, crafts, music and more kids fun. Parade starts at 7 pm in downtown Nisswa.

The city of Chaska sponsored fireworks is at McKnight Park starting at 10 p.m. on July 4. The best viewing is from McKnight Park, Jonathan Elementary School, Jonathan Square, and the Home Depot parking lot. Most people flood the Chaska Commons Shopping parking lots. Fireworks are launched from Lake Jonathan and the parking lots are directly across the highway providing for a great view. There is even a fireworks tent in the parking lot for last minute purchases like sparklers and other fun toys.
Coon Rapids Fireworks are in a new location this year.

Celebrations kick off at 6:30 p.m. at Kingston Park on July 4. There will be a family style picnic with hot dogs, brats, pop and candy available for purchase. Activities are scheduled throughout the evening and Fireworks are to start at dusk. The event is provided by the Cottage Grove Lions Club.

Details: Celebrate the Farmer’s Fourth of July at the Kelley Farm. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the lawn and watch the spring lambs and calves prance about. Join in 19th century games such as town ball, the precursor to modern baseball, and participate in an oratory and debate from the front porch. Enjoy the company of family and friends along with the farm’s costumed staff and celebrate the most important holiday in America in the 19th century.

During Maple Grove Days, July 8-12, the city will feature parades, games, food, competitions, street dances and much more at the Maple Grove Community Center. Fireworks will be on July 11 at 10 p.m.

Every July 4, the St. Peter Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host more than 10,000 revelers for the Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. The Old-Fashioned Parade and Picnic in the Park quickens the pulse of the community with excitement of live music, variety of food vendors, children’s activities, a hot dog eating contest, and spectacular fireworks display. Slice of Shoreview Days will be from July 23-26 at Island Lake County Park on Interstate 694 at Victoria Street. Most of the events will take place across the weekend from July 25-26. Besides an arts and crafts fair with an amusing flea market, everyone will be enjoying volleyball, basketball and softball tournaments, kiddie pedal tractor pull, a competitive 12-mile running race and, of course, all the water fun you could ask for! The street dance along Green Lake is open to all ages. On the fourth, the kiddie parade starts early followed by a Grand Day parade, including over 100 participants with lots of entertainment and candy! To wrap up a festive weekend, watch the dazzling fireworks light up the sky over Green Lake.”

Enjoy fireworks over the beautiful St. Croix River in downtown Stillwater! Musically choreographed fireworks simulcast on 1220 AM and through a full sound system in Lowell Park beginning at dusk (approximately 10 p.m.). Make sure to come early to get your favorite viewing spot.
New this year will also be daytime entertainment of live bands in the park and possible civil war cannons…details still in the works.
Prior to fireworks, the Stillwater American Legion Post 48 will have live music and free burgers, hot dogs and chips available at 3 p.m.
Spectacular Fireworks Show over Lake Waconia will begin at dusk on July 4th. The 2015 show will be shot from the eastern edge of the Lake Waconia Regional Park. Best Viewing from a boat on Lake Waconia, Lola’s Lakehouse, Lake Waconia Regional Park and Laketown Parkway.
The Fourth of July celebration in Walker invokes a feeling of nostalgia and patriotism from the 10k race, to the midday parade and into late evening fireworks. Along with all of these activities, the town’s shops and restaurants are all still open for business inviting people in to discover the treasures and delights that await them. You won’t want to miss Fourth of July in Walker, Minnesota. Walker’s magnificent fireworks are shot off over Leech Lake, which is filled with boats viewing the show. The Walker Lions Club organizes and funds the fireworks display.
