Twin Cities law professor , Peter Erlinder, has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya after being freed on bail from a prison in Rwanda. He’s expected to hold a news conference in Kenya regarding his ordeal. He was arrested in Rwanda on accusations he minimized that country’s 1994 genocide. He has sent a text message to the Associated Press saying he’s happy to be in Nairobi. Erlinder may have a news conference in New York on Tuesday according to his brother, Scott. The 62 year old Erlinder was arrested May 28th. He had been in Rwanda to help with the legal defense of an opposition leader.
