You wouldn’t expect many females to be situated in the life of Las Vegas bookmaking, but one woman worked in that very field for a few years starting in 2001.  That woman, author Beth Raymer, has relayed that time into her new book, “Lay the Favorite: A Memoir of Gambling”.  She discusses her time in Vegas, and other aspects of her life, in this hour-long interview.

Saint Paul Saints owner Mike Veeck is in-studio to talk about his contribution to a new book through ESPN called “Fathers & Daughters & Sports”.  Veeck’s essay involves his relationship with his daughter Rebecca, who was born blind.  Along with that, Veeck talks a little about his Saints and how their season is going.
