Halloween is coming up at the end of the month, which means all kinds of chocolate will be out for the taking. But is it just sweet junk that’s ultimately bad for you? Two ladies say no, conditionally. Mary Leonard, owner of Chocolate Celeste, and Dr. Natalie Hayes, family practice doctor at Hennepin County Medical Center and contributor to WCCO’s Healthy Matters, talk about the quality of chocolate and its possible health factors.
The Arch Dioceses of the Twin Cities is considering closing some of this area’s churches. The announcement will come next Saturday. Churches across the country are combining their congregations, while some are selling their buildings. Star Tribune religion writer Jeff Strickler joins the show to tell us what this means.
