N. Michigan Shuts Out Bemidji St. 4-0

BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) -- Northern Michigan goalie Reid Ellingson made 37 saves Friday as the Wildcats beat Bemidji State 4-0.

Ellingson capped a busy night with 16 saves in the second period and 14 in the third. Bemidji State (3-8-1) had a 37-25 advantage in shots on goal.

Nicholas Kosinski, Phil Fox, Tyler Gron and Erik Higby scored for Northern Michigan. Gron's was an empty-netter with 1:34 to play. Scott Macaulay assisted on two goals.

Mathieu Dugas made 21 saves for the Beavers.
