FOSSTON, Minn. (AP) -- Two people in a pickup truck have died in a collision with a semitrailer in snowy conditions near Fosston.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the semi carrying soybeans hit the pickup about 2:10 p.m. Monday on a county road about two miles north of Fosston. The pickup's driver and passenger were dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office identifies the victims as 68-year-old Donald Agar (AY'-gar) of Gully and his 66-year-old wife, Alma.
The driver of the semi wasn't hurt.
The Minnesota State Patrol said visibility was less than a half-mile at the time of the accident and the road was snow-covered and slippery.
