1 Person Killed In Wis. Industrial Accident
SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) -- Police say one person has died in an industrial accident at an iron ore facility in northwestern Wisconsin.
The accident happened about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at the BNSF taconite facility in Superior. Police Capt. Chad La Lor says the facility is in the city's Allouez neighborhood.
La Lor says the male victim was working at the facility when he was fatally injured. Police are investigating.
