Man Indicted For Alleged Cocaine, Pot Plot

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Robbinsdale, Minn. man has been indicted for allegedly conspiring to distribute cocaine and marijuana.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 38-year-old Marlon Terrell Collins was indicted on one count of conspiracy to distribute both drugs.

The indictment alleges Collins conspired throughout the summer to arrange for a package to be delivered to Brooklyn Park via FedEx.

On Sept. 3, police searched a box Collins made the arrangements to have delivered from Phoenix, Ariz. and found drugs inside.

The justice department estimates Collins is responsible for trying to have approximately 1.48 kilograms of cocaine and eight kilograms of marijuana sent.

Collins could get 40 years in prison if convicted.
