Sebeka Man Dies In Logging Accident

PILLAGER, Minn. (WCCO) -- A logging accident in Pillsbury State Forest claimed the life of a Sebeka man Thursday morning, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say the man was struck by a tree he was cutting down. The incident was reported at 9:35 a.m.

The victim was taken to Ramsey County Medical Center for an autopsy. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

The accident is being investigated.

Pillsbury Forest is located near Pillager in Cass County.
