Man Fires Shots, Robs Taco Bell In St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- A man with a gun robbed a Taco Bell in St. Paul Monday evening.

The robbery happened at the Taco Bell on the 1400 block of White Bear Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Police say the robber is described as a 6-foot-tall white man with a thin build, wearing all black and a face mask.

The man walked in with a gun and demanded cash. Police said the man then fired off three shots. No one was hurt.

A Taco Bell employee said they have been warned that other Taco Bell locations have been robbed this month.

The robber got away with about $75.

Taco Bell issued the following statement after the incident: "At Taco Bell, our primary concern is the safety of our employees and customers so we're thankful that no one was hurt. Our franchisee appreciates the swift action of the police and is fully cooperating as they investigate."
