Kim Kardashan was in the front row to watch her boyfriend Kris Humphries play for New Jersey against the Timberwolves Saturday, not from them was Kris’ father Bill. The word is they have a PR person just working on how to manage their public life.

Humphries also got a suite for kids from the Boys and Girls Club for the game.


Former Gopher football coach Tim Brewster is interested in the Texas state job.


Gopher football safety, Kim Royston, is trying to get a 6th year of eligibility.


Ryan Grant started or played linebacker for the Golden Gopher football program much this season. Bryce McNaul started or played linebacker at Northwestern most of the season and Blake Sorensen started or played linebacker for much of the season for Wisconsin.

All three played together in high school at Eden Prairie.


Most expect Cretin Derham Hall and Notre Dame junior wide receiver Michael Floyd to enter the NFL draft.


Metropolitan Sports Commission Chair Roy Terwilliger is still waiting to find out if Gov. Mark Dayton will appoint him to the same post.


The Vikings’ Ben Leber has an off season of relaxiation and anxieity.

“I’ll hit a vacation to the Bahamas, same place we always go, in February and then after that, I’ve got a baby on the way in March, early April so just kind of wait for that,” he said.

While Bryant McKinnie will try some new things.

“For this offseason, I hired a trainer, that I start with on the fifth, so I can’t get away from my workouts for too long. So I can come back in good shape. And I am going to go to the French Open this year,” he said.

“Produce some music?”

“Oh yes, and music as well,” he said.
