Fort Snelling Ceremony To Greet Returning Soldiers

FORT SNELLING, Minn. (AP) -- About 70 U.S. Army Reserve soldiers will be welcomed home from Iraq and Kosovo in a ceremony at Fort Snelling.

The 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command holds the ceremony Saturday afternoon in the drill hall of the Army Reserve training center at Fort Snelling. The returning soldiers are from multiple detachments of the 847th Human Resource Company that have served as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom over the last eight years.

The 847th oversees postal delivery to soldiers serving overseas and other measures to improve quality of life for personnel.
