Beasley Misses Practice With Ankle Injury
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley did not practice on Monday with an ankle injury and is questionable for the game against San Antonio on Tuesday.
Beasley was hurt on Sunday night against the Spurs in San Antonio. He rolled his ankle and was limited to 11 minutes while scoring just two points in the 94-91 loss.
Beasley first injured his ankle on Friday night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Beasley also fell hard on his hip in that game, but said after practice on Monday that the ankle was the only issue that could affect his availability for the next game.
The Timberwolves say Beasley will be evaluated again on Tuesday before the game.
Beasley leads the team in scoring at 21.9 points per game.
