MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A food service business in Lakeville is the first Minnesota company to sign on to a federal program designed to ensure that its workers are legal.

The program is called IMAGE, or ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers. It’s a voluntary program that allows businesses to partner with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Mike Feinberg, the special agent in charge of ICE in Minnesota, says companies who join the program can reduce illegal workers and the use of false documents.

He says businesses who join will also improve their reputations.

Ryt-way Industries in Lakeville joined the program this month.

Ryt-way has more than 1,000 employees.

Maybe the first step to giving some teeth to ICE. Keep on your legislators to prevent any mor sanctuary cities and to sue Minneapolis over their status as such.
I have no problem with legal imigration but we have a right to protect our boarders and to know who is in this country.

bob if the ceo of any company hiring illegals would be sent to jail for 30 days for the 1st offence 6 months for the 2nd offence the problem would fix itself

  7. Kevin A Legal American says:

Great Job!!!! I emailed the company thanking them for supporting Federal and State laws! If illegals can not find work…they will go home…and real Americans will have jobs…..I wonder if those illegal Chipolte workers will now demonstrate this company….I mean they have nothing to do now but live off of my tax dollars and demand that Federal and State laws be changed to make their there criminal behavior….legal criminal behavior……
