MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Deputies in Stearns County made an unusual drunk driving arrest Wednesday.

They say just after midnight, they got a report of a possible drunk driver on a snowmobile in St. Stephen, Minn.

Deputies spotted 25-year-old Joseph Kiley and tried to get him to stop.

But, they say he kept going, and eventually hit a fence and got stuck.

The deputies had to use snowmobiles themselves to get to Kiley.

He was taken to jail and is facing possible charges of drunk driving and fleeing an officer.

How is this unusual who doesn’t drink while snowmobiling?

I never heard of Drunk Snowmobiling in the State of Minnesota. I wonder if potheads ever use snowmobiles?

More than likely someone was jealous of his snowmobile, or he hit on someones girlfriend at a bar and they called the police.

Why did this guy make the news for drunken snowmobiling? It happens a lot more than people would think but this one incident made the news…why? Seems there may be more to the story than just drunk and fleeing…
