Mpls. Police Investigate Deadly Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Wednesday morning.

Police say they responded to a call of a shooting on the 1800 block of Queen Avenue North just before 2 a.m.

Officers and paramedics arrived to find a man dead of an apparent shotgun wound.

Police classified the death as suspicious, and an investigation is pending by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

The victim has not yet been identified.
