Raising Awareness About Toxic Chemicals With Valentines

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- Lawmakers at the State Capitol are getting some handmade Valentines to promote a "Healthy Legacy."

Parents, children and other concerned citizens made the Valentines Monday morning to raise awareness about toxic chemicals in children's products.

A state-based public health coalition called "Healthy Legacy" brought examples of products that may contain chemicals.

They are concerned about some baby bottles, formula can linings, credit card receipts, inexpensive children's jewelry, children's backpacks, vinyl purses and much more.
