Bond Cut For SD Man In Alleged Prostitution Ring
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- A judge has reduced the bond for a South Dakota man facing charges in an alleged prostitution ring.
KEVN-TV reports that the attorney for 34-year-old Jeramy Caron of Summerset argued that his client is not a flight risk or a threat to the public, and Judge Jeff Davis cut Cameron's $50,000 bond in half over the objections of prosecutors.
Caron has pleaded not guilty to two dozen sex crime counts. He's accused of bringing women from as far as Las Vegas and Minnesota to work as prostitutes in Rapid City hotels.
