MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you want to handicap potential sites for a new Vikings stadium, Ramsey County would be considered a long shot. The Metrodome, at least according to insiders, is most feasible.

The one they may prefer would be right next to Target Field. Although acquiring the land and all that goes with it could be too complicated. And don't read too much into the Vikings being a candidate to play in Los Angeles -- at least right now.

The word is quarterback Vince Young would be available for a third or fourth round draft pick. The debate inside the Vikings is his accuracy as a thrower.

As for Donovan McNabb, the question inside the team is his physical durability and will he be willing to get in shape.

Minnesota Twins pitcher Scott Baker had a minor setback in his right arm that could hinder his early spring training work.

Manager Ron Gardenhire sat in as a hitter to observe saver Joe Nathan -- Gardenhire was impressed.

The reason the Minnesota Wild may not get an outdoor game soon is the NHL wants to keep it with more high-profile teams.

Former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Mark Madson has returned to Stanford to get his master's degree.

And you wonder what Blake Hoffarber does outside of practice to tweak his shot?

"I shoot until my shot feels good. And when it feels good I'll leave right then," said Hoffarber.  "It might take a thousand shots, it might take a hundred shots -- it just depends on how the shot feels that day and if it's going in or not."
