Couple Found Dead In Twin Cities Suburb ID'd

MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. (AP) -- Police are investigating the deaths of a couple found in a suburban Twin Cities home.

Authorities say the bodies of 50-year-old Dwight Herme and 45-year-old Christine Herme were found by relatives checking on their welfare about 3 p.m. Saturday in Mounds View.

Police Chief Tom Kinney tells the Pioneer Press the deaths may be the result of a drug overdose. Toxicology tests are pending.

Relatives say the Hermes had been married less than a year.
