There indeed is a story within a story here.

  2. Eric says:

At least he didn’t shoot anyone else. Or worse yet, commit suicide by cop.

  3. Joyce says:

If you park your car and do the intended in the parking lot of the PD, he first was hoping to be found quickly and 2nd asking for help in this manner. Too bad he did not just post a note on his windshield.

  4. JLD says:

No matter the story or the circumstances, this is tragic and I hope the man is ok and gets the help he apparently needs.

Very sad. Maybe he had terminal cancer?

  9. Curious George says:

I can’t imagine him surviving a shotgun wound unless he aimed it at his toes or something, given his age.

This is right next to my kids school. I am glad it was only himself he intended to harm and not anyone else. Very sad.

Why St. Anthony?? Why not is the question? I hate to say it but the cops in the area seem to be good for nothing, other than handing out speeding tickets. They share the same space with the City Hall and a daycare which has experienced a number of car brake-ins last year
