Study Finds Mondays Are Best Days For Traffic
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- While the economy is improving, more people will start heading back to work and that means more traffic on the roads.
A new study out Tuesday by traffic data service INRIX, looked at some of the worst areas for gridlock in the country.
No surprise that among the worst were Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.
The study also looked at the best times to travel -- no matter where you are in the U.S.
They said that hands down the worst day to travel is Thursday and the best traffic day of the week is Monday.
The study found the worst hour to on the road is on a Friday between 5-6 p.m.
The best hour to hit the road is between 6-7 a.m. on a Friday.
