Kevin Love In Starting Lineup With Sore Knee

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love is in the starting lineup for the game against Indiana despite a bruised left knee. He is wearing a knee brace as he looks to surpass Moses Malone for the longest double-double streak since the ABA-NBA merger in 1976.

Love entered the game on Wednesday night tied with Malone with 51 double-doubles in a row.

Love was injured on Monday night when he fell to the court against the Mavericks. He finished the game with 23 points and 17 rebounds to tie Malone's streak. He had an MRI on Tuesday that showed no structural damage and was listed as a game-time decision.

Coach Kurt Rambis wasn't sure if Love would play as late as an hour before tipoff. But the All-Star tested it out in pregame warmups and deemed himself ready to go.
