Police: Boy, 2, Found Unconscious In Edina Hot Tub

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating an incident at a condominium complex in Edina where an unconscious 2-year-old boy was found in a hot tub Saturday afternoon.

The boy and his family are from Minneapolis and were visiting people at the complex, which is located on the 7000 block of Lewis Ridge Parkway in Edina.

The boy's family found him in the hot tub at around 2:30 p.m. and performed CPR on him.

Edina Police, Edina Fire Department and the Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. The boy was taken to Fairview Southdale Hospital and then transferred to the University of Minnesota Medical Center Fairview where he is currently being treated.

The Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the incident.
