CHASKA, Minn. (AP) -- Women in Minnesota agriculture will be telling their stories in Chaska.
The 13th Annual Women's Agricultural Leadership Conference convenes Wednesday at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Organizers say it'll focus on the integral roles women plan in agriculture.
Speakers will include Minnesota Commissioner of Agriculture Dave Frederickson and Sarah Dornink, president of Minnesota Agri-Women. Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon will present awards for mentoring.
The sessions will include forums on telling the story of agriculture to legislators and to visitors at the State Fair, the local foods movement, the raw milk debate, childhood obesity, health and wellness, and farm financial issues.
