Police Search For Suspected Armed Robber

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are seeking the public's help to identify a man who robbed a south Minneapolis business at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred just before 2 p.m., March 28 on the 900 block of West 36th Street. According to police, the man entered the business, with a handgun and demanded money from the register.

The clerk complied and the man fled the scene with the cash.

The suspect is described as a black man, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-10 with a thin build and no facial hair.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sgt. Walter Carlson at (612) 673-3856. Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is also offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information in this case leading to an arrest. Anonymous tips can be given at 1-800-222-8477 or by texting TIP674 to 274637.
