Guthrie To Announce New Season In Live Webcast

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Guthrie Theater will announce its new season during a live webcast.

Director Joe Dowling will unveil the 2011-2012 mainstage season from the set of Shaw's "Arms and the Man" at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Guthrie subscribers have been invited to attend the event. But fans can watch a live stream of the event on the Guthrie's Facebook page.

Online viewers will be able to interact with theater staff during the webcast.
