Up to 8 Hospitalized After Pick-Up, Bus Collide In Downtown St. Paul

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- A pick-up truck slammed into a Metro Transit bus Wednesday morning, sending both vehicles into a building. As many as eight people were sent to the hospital.

The crash happened at the corner of Cedar and Sixth streets just after 9 a.m.

The bus involved was the Route 94 bus, according to Metro Transit spokesman John Siqveland.

"It sounds like about 10 (customers) on the bus," Siqveland said. "Five or six of them were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, thank goodness."
