Wis. Woman Survives Landing On Garage Roof

TWO RIVERS, Wis. (AP) -- A 23-year-old woman flew out her back window and landed on a garage roof after she lost control of her car in southeastern Wisconsin.

According to Two Rivers police, the woman was speeding and swerving in and out of traffic when she lost control Monday.

Police say she struck the median, went airborne, crossed a lane and then rolled four times with the car stopping in a front yard.

Police believe the woman was ejected through the back window that was already broken, flew through the branches of a pine tree and landed on the garage roof.

The Herald Times Reporter reports she climbed off, with help from bystanders, and tried walking away.

But paramedics took her to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials believe alcohol was a factor.
