Copper Cable Stolen From Minn. Power Substation

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- St. Cloud police are looking for thieves who broke into an Excel Energy power substation and stole copper cable.

Authorities say the theft caused about $2,000 in damage.

Officers were dispatched Thursday afternoon to the power substation. They found that someone had cut through a perimeter fence and removed about 64 feet of cable from the power transformers.

Police ask that anyone with information contact them.
