MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Authorities have released the name of a 19-year-old man who died in a house fire in northwestern Hennepin County.

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office identifies the victim as Kyle Jon Adams. He died of thermal injuries and smoke inhalation.

A neighbor reported the fire about 6:30 p.m. May 21. Emergency responders found Adams' body in a bedroom of the Hassan Township rambler.

Adams' mother was seriously injured and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Rogers Fire Chief Brad Feist says the house is a total loss.
