Wis. National Guard Pilot Safe After Plane Crash
MADISON, Wis. (WCCO) – A pilot with the Wisconsin National Guard has been found safe after he ejected from an F-16 fighter jet over Adams County Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident was reported at about 1:20 p.m. Tuesday. The pilot was found south of Chester, Wis., and is being medically evaluated.
The aircraft was found in the town of Chester and emergency responders reported to the scene to secure the aircraft.
The pilot is with the Madison-based 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
