Police Need Help To ID Mpls Robber

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect.

Police responded Wednesday to a robbery at the Handy Shop, located on the 700 block of Lowry Avenue Northeast.
Police said a lone suspect entered the shop, fired a shot toward two employees and fled with money he stole from the cash register and the two employees.

Police described the man as 25 to 30 years old, nearly 6 feet tall with a thin to medium build. He wore a black hooded jacket and was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police at 612-673-3856.
