MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It is going to be hot and humid this weekend.

Expect highs in the upper 80s to low 90s with dew points creeping up into the low 70s. That is Florida-like humidity.

There will also be a threat of severe storms later on Saturday with some heavy rain possible overnight into Sunday morning.

The best chance of rain Sunday looks to hit southern Minnesota, according to the latest model data.

Relief comes as most head back to work on Monday. Temps fall back to the mid-80s with less humid air overtaking the region.
